Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Asset and Wealth Management and possess strong technical skills in GITHUB BDD SQL Cucumber Azure Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards in our software products contributing to the companys mission of delivering exceptional financial solution

Responsibilities

Lead the quality assurance efforts for software projects within the Asset and Wealth Management domain

Oversee the development and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts using BDD methodologies

Provide expertise in GITHUB for version control and collaboration with development teams

Utilize SQL and PL/SQL for database testing and validation

Implement and manage test automation frameworks using Cucumber Selenium and TestNG

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products

Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and Maven

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria in a Scrum environment

Conduct performance testing and ensure applications meet performance benchmarks

Utilize Azure for cloud-based testing and deployment

Track and manage defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Asset and Wealth Management with a deep understanding of domain-specific requirements

Demonstrate proficiency in GITHUB BDD SQL Cucumber Azure Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL

Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office responsibilities

Have strong communication skills both written and verbal to collaborate with diverse teams

Display a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks in the software development lifecycle

Hold a relevant certification such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
