Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Lead with 6 to 10 years of experience specializing in AVEVA PI Historian to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on the medical devices domain. This role involves leading technical projects ensuring data integrity and optimizing system performance. The candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our data management capabilities contributing to the companys mission of improving healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of AVEVA PI Historian systems to ensure optimal data collection and storage.
Oversee the integration of AVEVA PI Historian with other enterprise systems to streamline data flow.
Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving system issues to maintain high availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop customized solutions.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust validation and verification processes.
Optimize system performance through regular monitoring and tuning of AVEVA PI Historian.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and procedures.
Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Participate in project planning and management to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in AVEVA PI Historian technology.
Provide support during system upgrades and migrations to minimize downtime.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in AVEVA PI Historian with proven experience in system design and implementation.
Demonstrate expertise in data integration and system troubleshooting.
Have experience in the medical devices domain which is highly desirable.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Show proficiency in documentation and technical writing.
Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
Be capable of mentoring and training junior team members.
Have a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends.
Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Show a commitment to maintaining data integrity and system performance.
Possess a bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Be comfortable working in a hybrid model with minimal travel requirements.
Exhibit a strong understanding of system security and audit processes.

Salary - Good

Dislikes

Management, Work-Life balance, no respect towards senior resources, hike is very bad. Don’t join Cognizant, if you’re a senior resource. Even Managers and Senior managers are coding. HR team is worse I have seen so far amongst all IT firms that I have worked with in my 9 years career.
