Senior Automation Engineer - Python Programming (5-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to streamline our operations and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in scripting languages, experience with API development, and a solid understanding of Linux systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Shell Scripting, and Ruby.

- Develop and maintain Flask APIs to support automation workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and infrastructure.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation solutions.

- Document automation processes and best practices.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest automation technologies and trends.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in software development or automation engineering.

- Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with Flask API development.

- Extensive experience in Shell Scripting and Linux operating systems.

- Working knowledge of Ruby programming language.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
