SysTechCorp - Automation Test Engineer - Java/C# (3-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Testing :

- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and a programming language (Java, C#, etc.)

- Develop and execute test cases based on project requirements to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Automation Scripting :

- Write and maintain automation scripts for regression and functional testing.

- Create reusable test scripts to minimize manual intervention and improve testing efficiency.

CI/CD Integration :

- Integrate test automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline testing in the continuous delivery process.

Issue Tracking :

- Use Jira for bug tracking, test case management, and sprint planning.

- Ensure timely reporting of issues and provide solutions to address testing challenges.

Learning & Adaptation :

- Quickly learn new automation tools and technologies based on project needs.

- Be adaptable and ready to pick up client-specific tools and systems with internal training and support.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development teams, product managers, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration of automated testing into the development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications :

- 3-6 years of experience in automation testing with tools like Selenium.

- Strong programming skills in Java, C#, or any similar programming language.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jira for bug tracking and project management.

- Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining automation scripts for web and application testing.

- Strong communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies, with the ability to adapt quickly.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other automation tools apart from Selenium.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools and concepts.

- Experience working in Agile methodologies and collaboration tool.
