Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture (6-8 yrs)

We at Arenema are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) who is passionate about engineering practices like Agile, OOP concepts and solid principles using Java technologies.

The candidate should have solid experience in designing, developing and maintaining API driven solutions, and have a strong understanding of how a microservice architecture works, as well as implementing and designing RESTful and SOAP APIs with data transformation.

The candidate shall possess strong communication skills, high integrity and great attention to detail who is comfortable to work in remote-work setting, alone, or together in a group.

The candidate will get a chance to work on the following skillset at Arenema :

- Java with Spring Boot.

- AWS Gateway Services,

- PostgreSQL.

Qualifications :

- 6+ Years of development experience with Java, Spring, Spring-Boot, PostgreSQL and Microservices API development.

- End-to-end ownership should be exhibited in the design and development of the deliverables.

- Should be able to troubleshoot and identify the RCA for the issues that customers are encountering.

- Should be self-driven and independent contributor towards the deliverables and should be a team player.

- Should be fluent in English, to understand and drive the discussions with US and EU counter parts.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Java technologies.

- Implement and design RESTful and SOAP APIs with data transformation.

- Work closely with frontend and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
