Codinglimits - Senior Data Warehouse Developer - SQL Server (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- 6 -10 years of experience in Information Technology with strong development work experience in SQL Server or any other DBMS systems.

- Very good understanding of Data Warehousing Design Methodology, Data Warehouse Concepts, Database design/architecture including both OLAP & OLTP data and complete lifecycle of project from design to development and implementation.

- Extensive experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Deployment, and maintenance of Database applications.

- Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

- Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end user's requirements.

- Improve application's performances.

- Prepare documentations for database applications.

- Memory management for database systems.

- Develop database schemas, tables, and dictionaries.

- Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases.

- Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.

- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.

- Develop best practices for database design and development activities.

- Exposure to Dimensional Data modeling e.g. Star Schema modeling and Snowflake modeling.

- Possess excellent communication, decision-making, Problem Solving, Analytical, and Interpersonal skills with result-oriented dedication towards goals.

- Capable of working as a Team Member or Individually with minimum supervision.

- Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment with a strong desire to keep pace with latest technologies.

- Knowledge on ETL and Reporting tools is an added advantage.
