Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, with a focus on managing the entire product lifecycle from design, production, and service. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand product development and lifecycle processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SAP PLM solutions that streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and configure SAP PLM solutions to manage the entire lifecycle of products, including design, production, service, and end-of-life management.

- Work with business users to understand and document product lifecycle processes and translate them into SAP PLM configurations.

- Provide support for Product Data Management (PDM), including creating and managing product data, bill of materials (BOM), and engineering change management.

- Support the integration of SAP PLM with other modules like SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, and SAP EWM.

- Assist in the implementation of Engineering Change Management (ECM), ensuring seamless collaboration between design, manufacturing, and service teams.

- Support PLM-related processes for document management, product version control, and product data storage.

- Configure and customize SAP PLM tools, such as SAP DMS (Document Management System), SAP PDM, and SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center).

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency, integration, and smooth product lifecycle management across systems.

- Provide end-user training and support for SAP PLM processes and functionality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PLM, improving system performance and ensuring continuous improvement.

- Work on SAP S/4HANA implementation and support for PLM modules.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PLM implementation, configuration, and support.

- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes, including product design, development, and service.

- Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP PLM modules such as PDM, DMS, ECM, and Product Structure Management.

- Experience integrating SAP PLM with other modules like SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP EWM, and external systems.

- Strong understanding of Engineering Change Management (ECM) and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.

- Experience with SAP DMS (Document Management System) and SAP ECTR.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its impact on PLM processes.

- Experience in managing and configuring Product Data Management (PDM) workflows and collaboration.

- Knowledge of industry best practices in product lifecycle, document management, and engineering change processes.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills :

- SAP Certification in PLM or related areas (preferred).

- Exposure to SAP Cloud solutions for PLM or integration with third-party PLM tools.

- Experience in SAP Fiori or UI5 for PLM-specific user interfaces.

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards related to product lifecycle management.

- Experience in Agile product development methodologies and how they integrate with SAP PLM.
