Node.js Developer - Express.js/MongoDB (4-8 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with strong expertise in RESTful API development, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

- Optimize backend performance for scalability and efficiency.

- Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data storage and management.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or similar protocols.

- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.

- Ensure high availability, security, and robustness of applications.

- Troubleshoot and debug API and database issues.

- Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders for seamless integration.

- Implement unit and integration tests for API endpoints.

- Stay up to date with the latest Node.js and database technologies.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Node.js & Express.js - Strong hands-on experience

- RESTful API Development - Expertise in designing and implementing scalable APIs

- MongoDB & PostgreSQL - Strong database management skills

- Authentication & Security - JWT, OAuth, role-based access control

- Performance Optimization - Database indexing, caching techniques (Redis preferred)

- Asynchronous Programming - Experience with Promises, Async/Await, and Event-driven architecture

- Testing Frameworks - Jest, Mocha, Chai (Preferred)

- Version Control - Git, GitHub/GitLab
