Node.js Developer - Express.js/Javascript (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JavaScript and Node.js, and be passionate about building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

- Collaborate with frontend developers to build well-integrated user interfaces

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js and JavaScript trends and technologies

- Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools

Requirements and Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

- 2-3 years of professional experience in Node.js development.

- Strong proficiency in CSS, HTML, JavaScript and TypeScript

- Familiarity with popular Node.js frameworks like Express.js.

- Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL

- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP.

- Demonstrable experience in web application development with expertise in Node.js

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Understanding of microservices architecture

- A passion for learning and a desire to stay current with the latest technologies.

Preferred skills and qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
