OpenText Appworks Engineer (5-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Appworks & Angular Development :

- Design, implement, and maintain applications using Appworks and Angular.

- Work with Entity modeling to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data models within the applications.

Java & Middleware Technologies :

- Develop applications using Sun Java, JDBC, AJAX, and XML technologies.

- Integrate middleware technologies, ensuring seamless communication between various systems.

Architecture & Design :

- Leverage Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) to architect and implement solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and robust application architectures.

Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) :

- Work with SOA principles to design and implement distributed applications that communicate through web services.

Enterprise Application Development :

- Design and develop enterprise applications such as ERP, EAI, and BPM solutions.

- Work on large-scale, integrated systems and ensure they meet business requirements.

Web 2.0 & Standards Compliance :

- Utilize Web 2.0 technologies to enhance application functionality and user experience.

- Adhere to W3C standards for web development, ensuring the applications are standards-compliant.

Database & Data Modeling :

- Work with databases to design, implement, and optimize data storage solutions.

- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure accurate representation of data structures.

Software Development Methodologies :

- Follow agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver features on time.

- Maintain code quality, perform unit testing, and ensure proper documentation.

Skills Required

- Appworks : Experience working with Appworks and Appworks-related technologies.

- Frontend Technologies : Hands-on experience with Angular for frontend development.

- Java & Middleware : Strong experience in Sun Java, JDBC, AJAX, and XML.

- OOAD : Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles.

- SOA : Experience working with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

- Web Standards : Familiarity with W3C standards and Web 2.0 technologies.

- Enterprise Applications : Experience with ERP, EAI, and BPM systems.

- Databases & Data Modeling : Strong skills in databases and data modeling.

- Software Development : Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and best software development practices.
