Backend Engineer - Java Technologies (8-10 yrs)

Role : Backend Engineer

Scope of Work :

- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-sidelogic.

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs.

- Work with various SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra) databases to ensur efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Contribute to system architecture discussions and decisions. Ensure that systems are designed to be scalable, maintainable, and secure.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.

- Diagnose and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality products.

- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. Proactively suggest improvements and optimizations.

Skillsets :

- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in backend development.

- Extensive experience in developing backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.

- Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra).

- Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to team success.
