SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert (15-20 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Must have strong analytical aptitude and be able to analyze complex problems/requirements and define functionally advanced IT solutions.

- Must have a process-oriented aptitude.

- Handle FICO support (preferably US clients).

- Deep expertise on SAP FICO application functionality, design, and implementation.

- Conduct "what-if" analysis on the available approaches and provide a benefit scorecard.

- Understand and consult on the business processes supported by the application.

- Perform, assist with, or provide technical support for unit, system, integration, or end-to-end testing for fixes, enhancements, or new development.

- Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP ERP Finance and Controlling (FICO) and its business processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Treasury, etc.).

- Accountable for the solution design and configuration of new business process solutions, continuous improvements, and ongoing operational support.

- In-depth knowledge of the SAP ERP FICO module and direct configuration as needed.

- Handle issues with AR, AP, GL, CO-PA, Asset & Controlling.

- Prepare functional specifications and test cases.

- Support the client during UAT and month-end closing.

- Engage business stakeholders to understand and analyze business issues, goals, and requirements.

- Gather requirements, design, configure, test, and implement changes.

- Produce consistently high-standard documentation, both technical and descriptive in nature.

- Work with the business to analyze, design, develop, implement, and measure business processes and data flows.

- Apply process/data analysis and improvement techniques.

- Generate innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities to enhance results or maximize potential through researching potential solutions and innovative ideas.

- Design and manage tests of new/updated processes.

- Specify test environments for whole lifecycle testing.
