Oracle Developer - Database Implementation & Integration (7-12 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled [Oracle Specialist Role] to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for [managing/developing/implementing] Oracle systems to support our business operations. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure optimal performance, security, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based solutions (e.g., Oracle Database, JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite).

- Administer, monitor, and optimize Oracle environments to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Manage system upgrades, patches, and migrations for Oracle applications.

- Develop and implement Oracle database procedures, scripts, and queries for performance optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle systems, applications, or databases.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and customizations.

Ultimately deliver an industry-standard adapter that facilitates direct integration between the Apex SaaS service (portal) and a customer Oracle system. Today, customers do all development within their oracle environment to facilitate this integration, in the future this adapter will be given to Oracle customers as a starting point for them to modify as needed to meet their unique requirements

- Architecture and technical design of the solution

- Development of the adapter solution using current Oracle and industry best practices

- Testing of the solution with Apex to ensure it works as expected in all aspects

- Assist in facilitating certification of the adapter from Oracle

- Create customer documentation to assist them in deploying and setting up the adapter in their environment

- Train Apex integration resources on how to deploy, modify, and maintain the adapter

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- years of experience with Oracle technologies (e.g., Oracle Database, JD Edwards, Oracle Cloud).

- Proven experience in Oracle ERP implementation, database administration, or software development.

Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages.

- Familiarity with Oracle tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle APEX, or Oracle BI.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Certifications (preferred) :

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification

- Oracle ERP or JD Edwards certifications.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with integration tools and third-party applications.

- Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI, IoT, or blockchain in Oracle ecosystems.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Oracle solutions.
