Production Support Experience : 4+ Years
Batch Monitoring and Scheduling : 6 Months - 1 Year in Insurance Domain
Employment Type : Full-time
Location : Hyderabad only
Budget : Max 20 LPA
Role Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer with expertise in batch monitoring and scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or D-Series Scheduler. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production support, possess excellent troubleshooting skills, and ensure seamless batch operations within defined SLAs.
Key Responsibilities :
Batch Monitoring and Scheduling :
Job Scheduling :
- Build and validate job flows, calendar requirements, and scheduling criteria.
- Schedule daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly production job flows.
- Perform mass schedule changes and holiday schedule adjustments.
Batch Support and Maintenance :
- Actively monitor batch processes and resolve issues within SLA timelines.
- Analyze schedule dependencies and coordinate with application support teams.
- Manage scheduling for testing systems and validate job flow requirements.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution :
- Analyze and resolve scheduling issues for smooth job flow migrations.
- Provide quick fixes for batch-related issues and avoid SLA breaches.
Technical Expertise :
Primary Competencies :
- Scheduling Tools : Strong hands-on experience with Control-M, Autosys, or D-Series Scheduler tools.
- Operating Systems : Linux.
- Database Skills : SQL.
- ITSM Tools : Proficiency with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Incident/Change Request processes.
Secondary Competencies :
- Exposure to Markit EDM.
- Familiarity with .Net Production Support.
Process Skills :
- Systematic approach to troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Ability to perform mass schedule changes without issues.
- Proficiency in incident and change management processes aligned with ITIL practices.
- Capability to analyze business requirements and design smooth job flow migrations.
Behavioral Skills :
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills across project modules.
- Excellent communication and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Proactive and ownership-driven approach toward resolving issues.
- Ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to team members.
Other Details :
- Shift Requirements : Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call support.
- Reporting and Documentation : Define and modify reports as required.
