Position Overview
Position: ChiefSecurity Officer (CSO)
Band: C
Designation: AGM/DGM/GM
Department: Security
Reporting To: ChiefHuman Resource Officer (CHRO)
Qualifications
Essential: Candidateshould have Bachelors degree in any discipline from recognize institute
Desirable: Bachelorsdegree in security management or related field (MBA/Management or relevantcertifications preferred) will be preferred.
Experience
Essential: Minimumof 15 years of experience in security management, with at least 8 years in aleadership role.
Desirable: Armyor para-military experience is considered an added advantage.

The Chief Security Officer(CSO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing securitystrategies to protect the organizations assets, personnel, and information.The CSO will lead the security team, conduct risk assessments, ensureregulatory compliance, and collaborate with various departments to integratesecurity measures across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Security StrategyDevelopment - Design and implement a comprehensivesecurity strategy that aligns with the organizations goals and objectives.
Risk Management- Conductregular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop action plans tomitigate potential risks.
Policy and ProcedureDevelopment - Establish, enforce, and regularly reviewsecurity policies, procedures, and standards to protect organizational assets.
Incident Response- Developand lead incident response plans to address security breaches, including crisismanagement and communication strategies.
ComplianceManagement- Ensure adherence to local, national, andinternational regulations related to security, data protection, and privacy.
Team Leadership - Recruit, train, and manage the security team, ensuring a strong security culture acrossthe organization.
Collaboration withInternal Departments- Work closely with IT, legal, HR, andother departments to implement integrated security measures.
Monitoring andReporting- Oversee security monitoring systems andprepare regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and actions taken forsenior management.
Budget Management- Developand manage the security budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
ContinuousImprovement- Stay informed about emerging securitytrends, threats, and best practices to enhance the organizations securityposture.
Allied ServicesResponsibilities
Facilities Management: Ensurethe availability of internal communication facilities, including the telephonesystem, postal, and courier services.
Transport: Overseeinternal company and rental transport services for employees.
Employee Engagement: Facilitateand organize social, cultural, festival, and sports events.
Horticulture: Ensureenvironmental preservation and maintain the plants greenery index.
Liaison Responsibilities
Maintain effective liaison with localpolice administration and government agencies.
Keep track of changes in rules, policies, and legislation, and inform management accordingly.
