Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Cloud Engineer (L3) to enhance our IT operations team.
This role focuses on providing advanced technical support for Microsoft Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management, as well as managing cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal service delivery.
The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication capabilities, and extensive experience with enterprise cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Microsoft Azure SSO and Identity Management :
- Support enterprise applications within our Azure environment focusing on single sign-on (SSO) and user provisioning.
- Collaborate with security and IT engineers to design and deploy Azure resources including Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure databases, storage solutions, and logging mechanisms as required.
- Develop PowerShell runbooks and modules aimed at automating tasks and integrating applications/services within our Azure infrastructure.
- Provide high-level operational support to other engineers and service desk personnel.
Infrastructure / VDI :
- Maintain familiarity with Windows 365 as a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution.
- Use network and infrastructure knowledge to support VDI as a global solution.
Microsoft 365 Feature Administration :
- Oversee Exchange Online administration, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction.
- Manage OneDrive and SharePoint environments to support collaboration and document management needs.
Advanced Support and Troubleshooting :
- Provide Level 3 support for Microsoft cloud services, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
Monitoring and Reporting :
- Utilize monitoring tools to track performance and user activity across Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
- Generate detailed reports on system usage, incidents, and compliance metrics.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT support experience with at least 3 years specifically managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Strong proficiency in administering Azure resources and services, particularly around SSO and identity management.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for task automation and application integrations.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Microsoft certifications (e.g. , Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
- Experience with security frameworks and best practices, including access policies and user support protocols.
