DevOps Engineer

Job Description :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.

You will work closely with development teams to automate deployment processes, ensure system reliability, and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or similar tools.

- Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.

- Leverage Azure cloud platform to build and deploy scalable infrastructure.

- Utilize cloud services like Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Storage.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) :

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

- Set up monitoring tools to track system health and performance.

- Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues :

- Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.

- Work effectively with other team members to achieve project goals.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, especially Azure.

- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef).

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.

- Experience with cloud-native technologies (e.g, serverless computing, microservices)
