Mission for Associate Director - Sales
Drive Clear s regional growth through new account acquisition and account expansion. Lead and coach a five-member team of Account Managers in engaging with CFOs at India s fast growing enterprises, understanding their business challenges and creating value through Clear s technology solutions.
Role Outcomes
New Acquisitions: Lead the team to achieve sales targets through new logo acquisition with relentless prospecting, structured deal management and closures.
Account Expansion: Build deep relationships with key stakeholders at the client s organization. Identify opportunities to create value for our customers by up-selling and cross-selling Clear s products.
Client Retention: Become the partner of choice for the client team, create stickiness and grow NRR. Leverage the deep relationships and success stories for references that helps compound Clear s business
Team Management: Groom the individual contributors to become sales superstars and leaders. Build the right sales discipline, process and habits that become the foundation of a winning sales team. Partner with the sales operations, demand generation and product marketing functions to enable the team to succeed.
Client Acquisition:
Demonstrated success in selling SaaS solutions to large enterprises with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
Experience in value-selling principles and processes, managing complex sales cycles, including relentless prospecting, navigating multiple stakeholders, influencing decision-making processes and closing deals.
Account Management:
Enjoys building deep client relationships across the client organization
Proven track record in delivering account management targets - upsell, cross-sell and renewals.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, upsell products/services, and effectively close deals.
Client Management:
Excellent communication and relationship building skills that will create trust and partnership with CFOs and key stakeholders.
Experience in building relationships across the client organization, from CXO to user and across functions (finance and technology), which helps uncover deal opportunities and challenges and enables deal wins.
Coaching:
Enjoys coaching individuals, positively impacting clients and/or the company.
Setting clear performance goals and KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
Voice of Customer:
Experience coordinating with internal project teams and senior managers to ensure successful service delivery.
Proficiency in analyzing account performance data to assess client satisfaction and develop actionable insights for strategy optimization.
An MBA degree from a reputed institute
10 years B2B value selling experience with at least 2 years in SaaS
Excellent communication skills
