We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Training Head to lead our training and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs that align with the strategic goals of the organization. The Training Head will collaborate closely with department managers, HR, and leadership to ensure employees acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess Training Needs: Lead the identification of training needs by collaborating with department managers and employees. Analyze performance data and conduct surveys to ensure training programs meet specific skill and knowledge requirements.
Develop Training Programs: Design, develop, and oversee the creation of engaging, effective training programs that align with the company's strategic objectives. Ensure training materials, lesson plans, and delivery methods are tailored to the needs of various departments and roles.
Deliver Training Programs: Oversee the coordination and delivery of training programs across the organization. Ensure training is delivered using various methods, such as classroom instruction, e-learning, and on-the-job training, either directly or through a team of trainers.
Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Lead the assessment of the effectiveness of training programs by gathering feedback from employees, conducting surveys, and analyzing performance metrics. Continuously improve programs based on data and feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Manage Training Budgets: Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring that training programs are cost-effective, aligned with business goals, and deliver a positive return on investment.
Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with department managers and business leaders to understand unique training needs and develop customized training solutions. Foster collaboration to ensure alignment with department-specific goals.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Monitor and stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in training and development, including emerging technologies and methodologies. Incorporate new innovations into training programs to keep them relevant and impactful.
Lead a Team of Trainers: Manage and provide leadership to a team of trainers, ensuring they have the necessary resources, guidance, and support to effectively deliver training programs across the organization.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in training and development, with a strong focus on leadership and strategy.
- Expertise in designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to assess and evaluate training needs and outcomes at an organizational level.
- Familiarity with various training methodologies (classroom, e-learning, blended learning).
- Experience in managing training budgets and resources.
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Regularly review and refine training programs to ensure they align with company goals and industry best practices.
- Mentor and provide coaching to trainers, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality training sessions.
- Work closely with HR to ensure that training initiatives align with the broader employee development strategy and corporate culture.
