Job Description

You will work with a diverse group of some of the brightest problem solvers and thinkers in the Data Center Networking/Switching Team that work on next generation of Data Center & Cloud switches.

Who you are:

You are someone who thrives in a dynamic start-up like environment.
You can write complete functional and design specs independently
You can craft & develop large portions of software independently and rapidly.
You have an eye for details and are a person who loves to get to the depth of technology down to its bits and bytes.
You can learn a wide range of Data Center technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters of Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
Strong System/Applications programming skills in C/C++
Good Linux Kernel Networking knowledge
Good understanding in system and networking concepts and principles.
Sound background in Data structures and Algorithms.
Good debugging and trouble shooting skills
3-4 years of related work experience is required

Desired Skills:

Python/Go programming
Exposure to Open Source software development, Dockers/LxC, RPMs, etc
Good Containerization and SDN knowledge

Slow paced environment. Good WLB. Pretty good job security if you work in a product which makes revenue.

Dislikes

Very poor career growth. Below market salaries and no hike/promotion for high performers. No encouragement for better performance. Mix of average and poor quality engineers, not a good place for people who are ambitious about their careers.
