Who You Are:
Essential Skills-
- Bachelors degree (BE or BS) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in analysing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco XR Products.
- Knowledge of routing protocols - OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
- Exposure to WAN technologies - MPLS, MPLS VPN.
- Demonstrated significant analytical and troubleshooting skills, including crisis management abilities, and proficiency in handling critical customer issues/problems.
- Exceptional software debugging skills, with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting.
- Experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) environment is a valuable addition.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Deliver technology/product training and intellectual property material as necessary, including mentoring other engineers.
- Basic understanding of Software defined networking.
- Knowledge of Emerging technologies like micro services, Cloud etc.
- Good understanding of IOS/IOS-XR/IOS-XE DNS and DHCP
Extended Skills
- Automation Skills - Python Scripting, AI/ML, YAML, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of some DBMS (MongoDB, Oracle, SQL, Redis)
Emerging Skills
CCIE RS/EI, certification is a plus
Public / Private Cloud experience and knowledge. [ AWS, Azure]
