Job Purpose
To ensure project management of critical / strategic projects sponsored by the GSCM Head Office, which aims to continuously improve supply chain processes, enables cost reduction, debottlenecking and boost growth through Reimagine SCM roadmap. Prepare & Report MIS for driving focus & improvement.
Key Accountabilities
1. Governance
- Responsible for GSCM scorecard management including but not limited to â finalization of scorecard content with leadership, adhere to update and publishing cadence of scorecard, highlight risk areas and work with teams to resolve issues to stay on track.
- Provide intelligence to the leadership for monthly performance review basis GSCM strategy
- Review performance metrics and governance for the BU, with speedy resolution of issues
- Preparation for the Monthly / Quarterly reviews in liaison with divisional heads
- Ensure timely dissemination of information, reports and documents to corporate for governance and organization process support.
- Ensure readiness of corporate teams ask from GSCM for various reviews and engagements, example- board deck input, quarterly CEOâs reflection, reimagination updates, Tiki-Taka (collaboration award) quarterly nomination etc..
- Prepare material and extend support in organizing leadership summits and offsite for strategic objective setting.
- Review and update the action items from various critical meetings to ensure timely closure and escalation to leadership as required areas for the GSCM Head and other relevant stakeholders.
2. Project Management
- Spearhead tactical and strategic projects to support the SCM goals (digital/cost savings/ operational efficiencies)
- Ensure project management of Reimagination projects which will be executed through different GSCM functions.
- Drive & review key cross functional projects with the focus for achieving the organisational objectives.
- Reviews project schedules against project plans and specification, estimating time requirements, establishing timelines, monitoring milestone completion, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project process, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts.
3. Supply chain analytics and Inventory CoPE (COST OF POOR EXECUTION) management
- Set up robust governance to reduce global COPE for improving P&L of organization
- Brainstorm and work with cross functional teams and supply chain finance function to take necessary actions for sustaining best in class CoPE to revenue ratio
- Connect with cross functional teams to understand root causes of issues causing CoPE and summarizing them for Finance/ SCM teams to act.
- Perform risk assessment based on historical consumption, forecast & budget to identify opportunities for improvement of material CoPE
- Discussion with Quality, SCM & Vendor for resolving rejection to return RMPM to vendor/insurance for recovery, Identification of cross BU liquidation opportunity, CFT (IPD, Quality, etc.) connect for COPE resolution
- Monthly/ Quarterly report/ newsletter publishing on critical issues and work done to leadership
Educational qualifications:
Relevant experience
1 -3 years of experience in Project / Program Management with exposure in Supply Chain Management and framework with strong Interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills. Proficient in MS-office & presentation, data analytics tool such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. Experience of working on large data analytics project is preferred.
