Erlang Developer (7-10 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Erlang Developer to join our dynamic IT product development team, focused on logistics and supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable, distributed systems using Erlang. You will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining our core backend systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement backend services and applications using Erlang, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Utilize Erlang's concurrency features to develop highly efficient, non-blocking applications.

- Develop and maintain enterprise -level distributed server, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across the network.

- Design and implement fault-tolerant systems that ensure minimal downtime and high availability.

- Research and develop algorithms for distributed consensus, replication.

- Optimize existing code for performance and scalability, conducting regular code reviews and refactoring as needed.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all code and systems developed.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Knowledge of distributed computing, concurrency, virtualization, and parallelism

- Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

Required Qualifications :

- 7-10 years of software development experience, with at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Erlang.

- Experience with IoT would be a plus!

- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), messaging systems, and RESTful APIs.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and fixing issues.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
