Chola is hiring Legal Recovery Manager - Collection in Chennai

Skills Required:

• Well-versed in legal terminology and operations
• Strong understanding of Micro Lap, LAP, HL product (NON-SARFAESI product will be added advantage).
• Knowledge of current legal tools applicable, industry practice
• Crisis management experience
• Critical thinking and multitasking abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills Hindi Speaking Preferred (Not Mandatory)
• Vendor Management

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in drafting legal documents
• Ability to work with team (P.I. role) and independently
• Problem-solving mindset
• Knowledge of internal and external business practices and operations
• Strong analytical skills
• Good Excel Knowledge

Other Activities to manage:

• Sending legal notices and intimations letters to delinquent customers.
• Filing relevant suits and initiating legal actions in case of no result of sending notices.
• Coordination in case of arbitration, conciliation or any other alternate dispute mechanism available as per case.
• Coordination with external legal counsels in case of any legal suit filed by or against the company, with relation to SBPL. Follow-up for Delinquent cases for resolution in which legal tool has been used.
• Need to work closely with the team on NBW, Arbitration Cases and Repo Cases.
