Sustainability Manager

Chitkara University is looking for a Sustainability Manager. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
•  Assessing and reducing energy consumption and waste
•  Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards
•  Implementing sustainability initiatives and programs
•  Monitoring sustainability performance metrics
•  Coordinating with other departments to integrate sustainability practices
•  Engaging with stakeholders to promote sustainability goals
•  Overseeing the implementation of sustainability strategies during a construction project
•  Reviewing their employer's operations to identify areas where they can save money by implementing sustainable processes
•  Developing and implementing an organization's sustainability plans and presenting these plans to senior staff

Required Skills/Abilities:
•  Preferably male candidate with MBA having 3-7 years of experience as a Sustainability Manager.
•  Understanding of prevalent sustainability policies and procedures.
•  Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
•  Aptitude in problem-solving.
•  Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
