Team Lead - Techno commercial

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Commerce or Management. MBA Preferred.
• Certificate or proven exposure to catalogue management operations. Ariba or any eProcurement catalogue management training and certification.
• Experience in working in SAP MM, SAP Ariba Catalogue Management / other catalogue management tools, MDG tool and Workflow driven Shared Services Environment.
• Exposure to AI/Automation.
• Advanced user of Excel functions.

Experiences:

• 7-10 years of total experience
  • More than 3 years of experience in managing team preferably in a GCC or Shared Services context.
  • 3-5 years of experience in working in Projects, Assets, Infrastructure Manufacturing, Services organization in catalogue-based procurement model.
• Exposure to working in Indian conglomerates and working practices in promoter led organizations.
• Experience in transition and operations management of catalogue-based procurement.
• Experience and knowledge of punch out, static and automated catalogue management frameworks.
• Experience of working in catalogue development, catalogue verification, coordination with supplier for catalogue finalization and validation.
• Good coordination and liaising experience through working with multiple departments and vendors.
• Experience of monitoring transactional data MIS, reporting of SLA / KPI and driving continuous improvement.
• PowerPoint presentation creation and delivery capabilities.

Exposure to work in SharePoint / Tool based environment and project management.

Operations Management

• Work with Tower Lead - Contract Management in the design of catalogue management transactional support services at GCC.
• Stabilization and development of a transformation road map for Catalogue Buying and prepare a scaleup plan for March 2026.
• Lead development of policies and SOPs for catalogue-based buying.
• Drive development of user guides and training standards for catalogue-based buying.
• Be accountable for services operations, deliverables and outcomes required by the BU assigned within the framework of GCC Scope and SLA for catalogue management.

Transition and Operations Stabilization

• Support Tower Lead - Contract Management in the finalization of detailed process design and system enablement of catalogue management transactions support services.
• Responsible to update policies, SOPs SOW and SLA / KPI framework as and when needed.
• Lead the transition and stabilization of process activities related to catalogue management to GCC.

Customer and Stakeholder engagement

• Drive the implementation of a communication model - including ad-hoc / informal tele conversations/ face to face meetings, structured Ops review update to all stakeholders.
• Lead engagement with business end-users to gather inputs related to user interface.
• Drive collaboration with stakeholders for updating catalogue content.
• Interface with MDM team with respect to catalogue related master data.
• Monitor end-user access management with respect to catalogues.
• Ensure internal stakeholder signoff on existing and revised SOP/ SLA s and process change requests related to catalogue management.

Operational Delivery and Service Excellence

• Verify catalogue based requisition for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor requisition to approval lead time for catalogue-based requisitions.
• Review analysis of catalogue-based buying spend and drive catalogue utilization.
• Identify additional catalogue-based buying opportunities based on spend analysis, interlock with user departments and suggesting ARC possibilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of catalogue management metrics to support decision-making.
• Strive for service excellence by continuously evaluating and enhancing the catalogue management process.
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues affecting catalogue management service delivery.

People and Performance Management

• Manage verification team for catalogue-based buying.
• Define organization structure, Preparing JDs and hiring.
• Lead and mentor the catalogue-based buying specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Set clear performance goals for team members and conduct regular evaluations.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Operations Process Improvement and Knowledge Management

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the catalogue-based buying workflow.
• Identify and support in implementation of best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain a centralized knowledge repository for training materials, performance metrics, and process documentation to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
