Job Description

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Commerce or Management. MBA Preferred.
  • Certificate or proven exposure to Supplier Management operations. IIMM or CSM/ CPA preferred.
  • Experience in working in SAP, SAP Ariba SLP and Workflow driven Shared Services Environment.
  • Exposure to AI/Automation.
  • Advanced user of Excel functions.

Experiences:

  • 7-10 years of total experience
    • More than 2 years of experience in managing team preferably in a GCC or Shared Services context
    • 3-5 years of experience in working in Projects, Assets, Infrastructure Manufacturing, Services organization in supplier admin activities.
    • 1-2 years experience in SAP Ariba (preferably in SLP module) and SAP MM.
  • Exposure to working in Indian conglomerates and working practices in promoter led organizations.
  • Knowledge of concepts related Vendor Master Data Governance.
  • Knowledge and experience of Indian corporate compliance requirements including PAN, GST, withholding taxes and Global VAT/WHT, International trade tariffs and Denied Party List.
  • PowerPoint presentation creation and delivery capabilities.
  • Exposure to work in SharePoint / Tool based environment and project management.

Operational Management
  • Manage supplier extension processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Oversee supplier data amendments, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to supplier information.
  • Implement and manage procedures for blocking and unblocking suppliers, ensuring appropriate justification and documentation.
Transition and Operational Stabilisation
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new suppliers, facilitating a smooth transition into the system.
  • Develop stabilization plans to address any operational issues during supplier transitions.
  • Provide training and support to relevant teams on new supplier processes and data management systems.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding supplier status, extensions, and data amendments.
  • Responsible to resolve supplier support queries w. r. t procurement systems (SAP Ariba)
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure supplier information meets their requirements.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to gather insights from stakeholders about supplier administration processes.
  • Support in creation and updation of supplier Query FAQs to ensure supplier can self service.
Operational Delivery and Service Excellence
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier extensions, data amendments, and block /unblock requests.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence by identifying and implementing best practices in supplier administration.
  • Conduct regular reviews of supplier administration processes to ensure alignment with service delivery goals.
  • Compute SLA / KPI as per workflow and identify miss / delays.
People and Performance Management
  • Lead and mentor the supplier admin team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to support team members' growth and development.
  • Develop training programs focused on supplier administration processes for team members and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage performance appraisal of the assigned team.
  • Implement structured performance evaluation criteria and monitoring using tangible / operational data for assigned specialists.
  • Ensure each new team member (new /existing) is inducted to new operations model, expectations and governance mechanism including critical business scenarios.
Operations Process Improvement and Knowledge Management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in supplier administration to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of supplier administration processes, changes, and best practices.
  • Leverage technology and tools to improve data management and streamline supplier administration tasks.
  • Be the GCC Focal point and liaise / work with Business stakeholders in ensuring Process improvement program are aligned to Business needs.
  • Participate in GCC Cross functional Process improvement council to identify variances across Sectors and work on driving standardization.
  • Seek opportunities for AI / Automation implementation to reduce transitional activities.
