SECONDARY LOGISTICS OFFICER, PRIMARY LOGISTICS OFFICER

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field

Master's degree or MBA in logistics management or a relevant discipline (preferred)

Develop and implement secondary logistics strategies to optimize transportation, distribution, and warehousing processes

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, plan shipments, and ensure on-time delivery of materials

Oversee and manage a network of transportation providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Monitor and analyze transportation costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance secondary logistics operations and streamline processes

Ensure accurate inventory management, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory while maintaining optimal levels

Implement best practices for warehouse management, including layout optimization, inventory tracking, and safety protocols

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales, production, and customer service objectives

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to drive innovation and competitiveness
