Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all operational contracts, focusing on contract retention, growth, and development within the assigned territory. The role involves strengthening the companys portfolio and enhancing its reputation in the market through effective management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Strategy:
• Develop and review operational policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Make critical decisions regarding the companys future direction and growth.
• Managing Budgets:
• Oversee production budgets, track costs and revenue, and make decisions that positively impact cash flow and profitability.
• People Management:
• Recruit, select, and train staff to ensure effective team performance.
• Conduct employee performance appraisals and manage the development of the team.
• Operations Management:
• Plan, assign, and direct work while ensuring quality standards are met across all operations.
• Supply Chain Management:
• Manage logistical processes, including ordering, warehousing, and materials management to ensure efficiency.
• Building Vendor Relationships:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring mutual benefits and smooth operations.
• Supporting Other Stakeholders:
• Provide support to investors, directors, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth business operations.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting, data analysis, and presentation creation.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:
• Technical Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3 to 8 years of experience in operations management, facility operations, collections, and P&L management.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience managing operational contracts and overseeing supply chain functions.

Travel Requirement: Comfortable with frequent travel
