Oracle Apps DBA

We are looking for an experienced and talented Oracle DBA to join our team and work on various projects involving data warehousing and analytics. You will be responsible for managing, monitoring and optimizing the performance of our Oracle databases and ensuring their availability, security and reliability. You will also collaborate with other developers, analysts and stakeholders to provide technical support and guidance on data warehousing best practices and solutions.

Must have Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or related field At least 5 years of experience in Oracle database administration and performance tuning Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL and data modeling Familiar with Oracle tools such as Enterprise Manager, SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, Data Pump etc. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures such as star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling etc. Experience in tuning Oracle databases for data warehousing workloads such as ETL, OLAP, reporting etc. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Oracle performance issues using tools such as AWR, ADDM, etc. Experience in implementing Oracle performance features such as extended statistics, partitioning, compression, parallelism, indexing etc. Hands on experience with Unix Shell Scripting

Nice to have Experience with Oracle Golden Gate Knowledge of Oracle BI Applications 7.9.x or 11.x Familiar with Virtual Private Database
