Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, and various(GCP or AWS or Azure) cloud platforms, highly recommended with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience, as well as hands-on expertise in building scalable, high-performance microservices applications. This role will involve working on critical business applications, optimizing performance, ensuring code quality, and utilizing modern development tools and practices.
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x.
Develop RESTful web services and integrate with MQ, GCP Pub/Sub, SOAP and REST APIs.
Work extensively with microservices architecture and event-driven systems, particularly with GCP Pub/Sub or Kafka.
Manage and optimize cloud resources on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing tools such as Cloud IAM, VPC, GKE, App Engine, Cloud SQL - Postgresql, and more.
Build and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
Write and maintain high-quality unit and integration tests using JUnit 5.
Implement secure and scalable OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications.
Optimize database access and queries, and ensure proper database design and integration with Oracle 18c, MongoDB 4.x, PostgreSql and other relevant data stores.
Experience in developing API-Gateway, Service Mesh, Circuit Breaker using Istio.
Experience in database versioning tool like Liquibase.
Utilize CI/CD pipelines - GitAction and automation tools to improve development cycles.
Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Grooming the juniors by giving technical KT and code review comments.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
