Job Description
Timely design of cost effective transformer & allied products as per customer specifications & required quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with the companys brand and business objectives.
- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering) to ensure the design vision is executed seamlessly across all channels.
- Guide the design direction for new product initiatives, brand identity, and user experience.
- Project Management:
- Oversee multiple design projects from concept to execution, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage the allocation of design resources, ensuring optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define design requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Creative Excellence:
- Lead the creation of high-quality design solutions that resonate with the target audience, maintaining consistency with the brands aesthetic and voice.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the teams output remains innovative and cutting-edge.
- Review and approve design work at various stages of the process to ensure it meets the highest standards of creativity, usability, and quality.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with product managers, developers, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of design with development processes.
- Present design concepts and solutions to internal stakeholders and senior leadership, articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Foster open communication between the design team and other departments to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
- Mentorship & Development:
- Provide constructive feedback to team members, helping them grow in their design expertise and career development.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the design team.
