Coordinated large multi-disciplinary projects with ultimate responsibility for financial control, resourcing management, internal project coordination, administration, and client liaison.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and organise themselves to meet all assigned deadlines.
Proactively communicated and collaborated with internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Resource Plan, Roadmap, Budget, Risks , etc
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Serves as the conduit between the product/customer community and the development team through which requirements flow.
Agile software delivery process using JIRA (including breaking down work into modular tasks, updating/tracking task status/work log entries for sprint management), Gerrit/Git (source code management including branching strategy, code review) and Automation Tools.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Design, Management or relevant field.
10+ years of experience in managing a team of 10-15 designers to drive a product from concept to production.
Adept knowledge of PLM software, Agile methodology and other design project management related tools.
Great leadership skills, able to deliver clear feedback to their team members.
Proven ability to manage timelines and budget of complex multi-disciplinary projects
Proven ability to manage teams and establish efficient communication channels between internal team members as well as across different teams within the organization.
Artistic and creative, familiar with design quality and the strategies involved in creating good designs.
Working with other teams to implement changes to a product s design.
Influence others, leading them to understand why certain design aspects matter more than others.
Should be able to manage and resolve conflict between individual team members and between different teams
