Job Summary:

The PR Manager is responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies to enhance the brand’s image, reputation, and communication with the public, media, and stakeholders. This role involves managing media relations, coordinating events, handling crisis communication, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. The individual will be responsible for driving Public Relations (PR) activities of CG Foods in India and its flagship WAI WAI brand as well as PR Coordinator and SPOC for all PR activities and resources in global geographies for CG group.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development and Execution:

• Develop and implement PR strategies to support business objectives and enhance brand reputation.
• Monitor and analyze public relations efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.

2. Media Relations:

• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers.
• Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
• Act as the company’s spokesperson when interacting with the media.

3. Content Creation and Communication:

• Develop and oversee content for press releases, interviews, and keynote speeches.
• Create and manage newsletters, blog posts, and articles for external communication.

4. Event Management:

• Plan and execute PR campaigns, press conferences, and promotional events.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.

5. Crisis Management:

• Develop crisis communication plans to address potential public relations issues.
• Respond promptly to any media inquiries or situations that may affect the brand’s reputation.

6. Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track media coverage and measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
• Prepare regular reports on PR activities and performance metrics.

7. Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, social media, and content teams to ensure unified messaging.
• Liaise with stakeholders to align PR strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing Strong media relations skills with a demonstrated ability to secure positive coverage in top-tier media
• Well-versed in crisis management
• Should be able to formulate PR plans with measurable evaluation metrics
• PR Agency management skills
