Position Overview:
- The Senior Consultant will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring the successful placement of senior-level executives. This role combines client acquisition, leadership hiring, and delivery, making it pivotal to the firm's success. The Senior Consultant will spearhead the new division dedicated to executive search, shaping its strategy and operations from the ground up.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in executive search, excellent client management skills, and a proactive approach to business development.
- Set up the executive search vertical for the company in Mumbai.
- Act as a partner to drive the business, owning all aspects of operations and client engagement.
- Leverage experience from past experience to establish best practices and a solid client base.
- Source, attract, and place candidates in mid to CxO-level roles for Fortune 1000 companies.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the executive search business.
- Build a high-performing team to support client needs and delivery excellence.
- Represent the company as a thought leader in executive search.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in various industries.
- Present the firm's capabilities to potential clients and secure executive search mandates.
Executive Search & Leadership Hiring:
- Understand and analyze client requirements for senior-level positions.
- Develop and implement effective search strategies to identify and attract top-tier candidates.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify key talent pools and leadership trends.
- Execute proactive headhunting initiatives through networking and direct outreach.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and comprehensive assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Utilize advanced assessment tools to ensure rigorous selection and cultural fit.
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Provide strategic advice and consultation to clients on hiring and talent acquisition.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial contact to final placement.
Market Research & Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations based on market intelligence.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in executive search or senior-level recruitment.
- Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
- Strong understanding of various industries and their executive talent requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to excellence.
