Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven In-Country Representative to represent a renowned U.S.- based Culinary Institute in India. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison for prospective students and parents, high schools and colleges, educational agents, and key stakeholders, driving student enrollments while fostering strong relationships to enhance the institution's footprint in India.
Collaborating closely with Zista's leadership, the institute's international team, and strategic partners, you will play a vital role in shaping recruitment strategies, amplifying brand visibility, and achieving enrollment objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute recruitment strategies and deliver market plans to maximize student enrolments and revenue growth from India.
- Manage day-to-day recruitment activities, including attending exhibitions, school and college visits, and agency meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as school and college counselors, alumni, education agents, and other partners.
- Represent the university at education fairs and recruitment events across India, advising prospective students and offer-holders on programs, entry requirements, and the application process.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the university to ensure the effective management of recruitment and admissions processes.
- Organize and manage both offline and online recruitment events, such as agent workshops, sessions with schools, alumni, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, gather insights, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Guide students through the entire recruitment process, from inquiry to admission and visa support.
- Update and manage student interactions using CRM systems, ensuring all communications are tracked effectively.
- Participate in virtual events and team meetings, produce reports, and follow monthly objectives to track progress.
- Enhance the university's brand visibility through supporting targeted digital and social media activities.
- Support, train, and establish agent networks for broader recruitment reach.
- Collaborate on strategic planning with Zista's leadership and the university's international teams to meet recruitment goals.
- Co-ordinate with the international recruitment teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly performance reports and track progress against objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Preference will be given to candidates with an educational background in Hospitality or Culinary Arts.
- 4-5 years of experience in student recruitment, particularly for U.S. institutions or similar roles.
- Demonstrated experience in promoting international Culinary or Hospitality institutes is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of successfully planning and implementing effective recruitment and student conversion strategies.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of the global higher education landscape, especially in India and the U.S.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with agents, schools, and counselors.
- Excellent planning skills with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within India, including on weekends when necessary.
