Associate Technical Writer

Experience

• Requires 1 to 5 years of experience in Technical Writing (preferably in a software product development environment)
• Writes and edits information to industrys standards
• Ability to grasp knowledge of the functionality of at least two CDK applications simultaneously
• Spends time to gain operational and architectural knowledge of assigned products, with strong focus on domain
• Attends relevant meetings and training sessions to gain operational and functional knowledge of product, tools, processes, domain and technology
• Follows departmental guidelines, the Microsoft Manual of Style, and the Chicago Manual of Style

Eligibility

• Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline English Literature, Mass Communication, Advertising disciplines preferred; Engineering and B Tech streams least preferred.

Required Attributes

• Working knowledge of advanced authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Robohelp, Visio, Snagit, Camtasia and/or similar tools
• Knowledge or familiarity of digital adoption tools like WalkMe, Pendo, Whatfix and/or similar tools
• Strong focus on domain and grasp of technology
• Self-starter
