JOB SUMMARY
The Analyst position for the CBRE Business Analytics group supports business intelligence projects focused on real estate data analyses for CBREs global clients. Through data integration, visualization and examination, this position helps our clients optimize their operations across all service lines: facilities management, project management, finance, portfolio administration, cost forecasting, etc.
An analyst works closely with our clients and technical database team to automate data collection from source operational systems, aggregate and standardize the information in a data warehouse, and develop Tableau dashboards that leverage the warehouse to generate meaningful client insights. The analyst will work with our Global Service Delivery team during the standup of initial solutions, as well as the Ongoing Support team post-delivery. The Ongoing Support team focuses on maintaining and enhancing our business intelligence projects.
The ideal candidate possesses a broad skill set across five key categories: Tableau expertise, experience in data modelling and relational databases, project management and knowledge of the corporate real estate outsourcing industry is preferred. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in analytics.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
DATA MANAGEMENT AND ANALYTICS
Excellent data management, manipulation, and analysis skills. Ability to create integrated data models from disparate sources. Understanding of relational databases. Intermediate to advanced Tableau skills are required. Highly skilled in dashboard design and development. Understanding of Parameter/ LOD/complex charts is mandatory. Proficiency in database technologies such as Microsoft Access or SQL Server is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products, particularly Excel. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Hands on experience with project management tools like JIRA/Smartsheet/Confluence is preferred. Experience in the corporate real estate outsourcing industry is preferred.
