Regional Supplier Management:
- Manage Supplier relationships build a strong network of performance-driven suppliers.
- Monitor Compliance KPIs of Suppliers regarding safety - Quality - Delivery - Cost.
- Maintains price agreement with quarterly Updation of price lists.
- Support the Global category management team in deploying supplier strategies in the Region.
- Market Scouting for Potential New suppliers based on Gaps in Category.
- Lead Resolutions for the identified Deviations in supplier performance.
- Supplier capacity Monitoring for identifying potential future bottlenecks actions on the same
Sourcing Project Management:
- Participate in New Product Development / Localisation sourcing projects as a regional lead.
- Provide Inputs from the Region on the suitability of Design for Manufacturing for cost optimization.
- Secure Timely Execution of major Project Milestones overall timeline.
- Work closely with the regional Quality team to secure the right-first-time test samples.
Stakeholder Management:
- Develop a strong network with internal stakeholders from the Category management team Site Buying team, to support on any issues relating to regional suppliers.
Cost Management:
- Continuously track local market trends for cost drivers support commodity teams with local business acumen.
- Participate in VAVE activities for product cost optimization.
- Monitor Savings Projects to secure completion of Annual Savings Target
Who you are
As a person who is responsible for the Develop Maintains a Competitive compliant sustainable supplier base in Region India. Deploy sub-commodity sourcing strategy in the region by working closely with the Global commodity management Team.
What you can be
- Diploma Mechanical or BE / B. Tech (Mechanical or Production)
- 5-10 years of experience from Sourcing of Engineering Components, Min 3 Years Exp category management.
- Strong Project management Negotiation skills.
- Experience from PPAP, Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Willingness to Travel domestically internationally.
- Highly self-motivated result driven attitude.
- Ability to drive transformational changes.
- Inquisitive approach towards new technology mindset for continuous improvement.
- Strong ability to work with matrix organizational structure with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS tools Word-Excel-PowerPoint
- Critical thinking skill High-level ability of Problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills Verbal written.
