Job Title: Data Analyst Learning & Development
Location: Hybrid at Mumbai

Salary: ₹5.5-7.5 L per year CTC as per industry standard

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst Learning & Development with 2-3 years of experience in data handling, reporting, and automation to enhance the effectiveness of our training and assessment programs.

This role requires strong Excel expertise, quantitative analysis skills, and reporting abilities in PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will also work closely with the IT team to automate data processing, reporting, and dashboard creation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in analytics-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management, Analysis & Automation

• Collect, clean, and structure training, assessment, and performance data from multiple sources.
• Perform quantitative analysis to track training effectiveness, learner engagement, and competency development.
• Use Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, Power Query, Macros/VBA) for handling large datasets.
• Work with the IT team to automate data collection, reporting, and visualization.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and real-time accessibility for decision-making.

Reporting & Insights

• Develop dynamic dashboards, reports, and scorecards for L&D initiatives.
• Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to communicate key insights.
• Generate reports on training effectiveness, skill development trends, and ROI on learning programs.
• Provide data-backed recommendations to enhance learning strategies.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with L&D, HR, IT, and business teams to understand training and assessment objectives.
• Liaise with the IT team to integrate data automation solutions and ensure seamless reporting.
• Support the development of competency frameworks, training assessments, and survey-based analytics.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

✔ 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
✔ Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, Charts, Advanced Formulas, VBA/Macros).
✔ Experience in automation of reporting and dashboards (collaborating with IT teams for automation).
✔ Ability to create clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations with insights from data.
✔ Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
✔ Good understanding of training effectiveness metrics, learning analytics, or HR-related data analysis.

Good-to-Have Skills

➕ Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio for dashboarding.
➕ Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data extraction (preferred, but not mandatory).
➕ Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) or HR analytics platforms.
➕ Understanding of survey analytics, assessments, and performance tracking.

• Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum Qualifications: Must have completed Bachelors degree in either:
• Data Science/Analytics
• Computer Science/Information Technology
• Engineering (Any field)
• Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related fiel
• MBA (with a specialization in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or HR Analytics)
• M.Sc. in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Statistics
• PG Diploma in Data Science/Analytics from top tier institutions
• Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python for Data Analysis
