Head of Marketplace Growth

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketplace Management & Strategy
   
• Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth across marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Pepperfry, etc.
• Analyze marketplace trends and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
2. Product Listings & Optimization
   
• Manage product listings, descriptions, and images to ensure optimal visibility and customer engagement.
• Optimize product keywords and search terms for better discoverability.
3. Performance & Analytics
   
• Monitor and analyze sales data, traffic patterns, and conversion rates.
• Prepare detailed reports on performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes.
4. Inventory and Order Management
   
• Coordinate with the inventory and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely fulfillment.
• Monitor stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations on marketplaces.
5. Vendor and Marketplace Relationships
   
• Serve as the primary point of contact with marketplace account managers.
• Negotiate terms, promotional opportunities, and visibility enhancements with marketplaces.
6. Customer Experience & Review Management
   
• Analyze customer reviews and ratings to improve product offerings and brand image.
• Resolve any marketplace issues, disputes, or policy violations.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proven experience in managing marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, search engine optimization (SEO) for marketplaces, and digital marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, marketplace dashboards, and reporting software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
