We are seeking a highly motivated E-commerce Category Manager / Business Development Executive to manage product categories, drive sales growth, and develop business strategies on leading e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Walmart. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from pricing to inventory, optimizing product listings, coordinating with internal teams, and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage product categories on Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, and other e-commerce platforms.
2. Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, optimize product placement, and improve profitability.
3. Handle product supply chain management, ensuring timely availability of products.
4. Coordinate with teams to manage product listings and resolve any listing issues.
5. Monitor sales performance, pricing strategies, and take part in promotional events.
6. Analyze sales data to make informed business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
7. Work closely with suppliers, negotiate terms, and maintain relationships.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchants, listing teams, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
9. Lead business development efforts to expand product categories and market presence.
10. Stay updated on e-commerce trends, tools, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Prior experience in e-commerce, sales, or business development is an advantage (Freshers can apply).
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience managing e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinker with a growth mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of projects.
