About the role
As the leader for the HR Technology organization (HRT) in India, you will be responsible for managing the HRT India team, delivering and supporting the HRT systems strategy and roadmap for the organization. You will oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems, with a particular focus on Workday Human Capital applications. You will partner with HRT colleagues globally, HR Business teams Digital/IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of best-in-class HR technology solutions that support business needs and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HRT colleagues globally and deliver the HR technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
Manage HRT team members in India. Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR technology services.
Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems.
Partner with HR leaders, Digital/IT teams, and external vendors to identify opportunities to improve HR technology solutions and processes.
Manage relationships with external vendors.
Collaborate with other Digital/IT teams to ensure HR systems are integrated with other business systems as needed.
Manage HR technology budgets and timelines for India.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems.
Ensure compliance of HRT Governance and Release Management processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field.
8+ years of experience in HR technology with at least 5 years of experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing resources in a dotted-line, matrix relationship.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels within the organization.
Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices.
Proven ability to lead large-scale HR technology projects.
Strong vendor management skills.
Proficient in generating reports and data analysis to assist with decision-making and planning.
Comfortable with SDLC and Agile product delivery frameworks and tools such as JIRA.
