Job Description
- Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our team.
- This role involves implementing and managing security tools to protect our organizations systems and data.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in some or all of the following areas: Next-generation Antivirus (NGAV), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), SIEM and log management, scripting and automation, and network security controls (IDS/IPS), coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security threats.
- Deploy and manage next-generation endpoint security solutions and EDR tools to safeguard organizational assets against advanced threats.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize SIEM platforms to ensure comprehensive monitoring, threat detection, and response capabilities.
- Oversee the log flow lifecycle, including collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Investigate, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to implement security tools and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and industry standards to continuously improve the organizations security posture.
- Respond to audit evidence requests.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar).
- Linux experience good to have
- Shift timing - 5.30PM to 2.30AM
- Proven experience with next-generation endpoint security tools (CrowdStrike or similar).
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with EDR solutions for proactive threat detection and mitigation (Tanium, CrowdStrike, or similar).
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, Exabeam, Elastic, Sumo Logic, or similar).
- Expertise in log collection and management.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python/Bash/PowerShell).
- In-depth understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to proficiently document information, designs, and processes
