Java,AWS,KAFKA-Sr Software Engineer II

CGS India is seeking Senior Software engineer a talented and motivated front end Developer to join our team. Reporting to Team Lead, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems. In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems. Job Responsibility (Checklist) The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key deliverables:

• Good experience in developing web applications using J2EE, and experience in Spring Boot.
• Expertise developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using MicroServices, with demonstrable production-scale experience.
• Experience working with tools like Git, Maven etc is good to have
• Knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server preferred)
• Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
• AWS knowledge and hands-on experience is preferred.
• Good experience is working on Kafka messaging service
• Strong agile/scrum development experience, experience interpreting user stories and applying the appropriate technical solutions to deliver operational results
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams

Qualification

• Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )

Experience

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in AWS, Java and Kafka messaging

Knowledge and Competencies

• Overall IT experience of 7+ years
• Must-Have: Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest and SOAP web services, Database (Oracle/PostgreSQL), PL/SQL, Messaging (Kafka/ActiveMQ), Cloud knowledge (AWS
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders
• Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations
• Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required. Should have good understand on how to write Unit test cases.
