JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is looking for a skilled and dedicated Tech Lead to join our team. The Tech Lead will play a pivotal role in leading and executing complex technical projects, querying databases, automating reporting/ data products, and creating impactful visualizations. This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data outputs while working closely with both internal and external stakeholders across a diversified portfolio of service offerings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Perform extensive direct querying of databases using SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio to gather and manipulate data.
Develop automated outputs using SAS Enterprise Grid & Viya, including writing PROC SQL statements and setting up automated email outputs according to departmental standards.
Utilize Control-M Enterprise Job Scheduler or SAS Scheduler for scheduling and automating data workflows.
Create and develop visualizations using Tableau Desktop Creator, adhering to department visual and branding standards.
Provide extensive support using Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation to aid users and stakeholders.
Query healthcare data using SQL and articulate complex data concepts in an understandable, explainable manner.
Educate and support users through presentations and interactive sessions, simplifying technical concepts.
Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment, adapting to frequently changing priorities.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

7 - 10 years of experience in Tech Lead or related roles.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Extensive experience in database querying using SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio.
Proficiency in creating automated data outputs using SAS Enterprise Grid & Viya.
Experience with job scheduling using Control-M Enterprise Job Scheduler or SAS Scheduler.
Strong skills in developing visualizations with Tableau Desktop Creator.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
Solid understanding and experience in querying healthcare data with SQL.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with onshore stakeholders.
Ability to articulate data concepts clearly and simply.
Comfortable educating and presenting to onshore stakeholders.
Ability to work well in a team with frequent priority shifts.

Dislikes

Due to high work load you might not be able avail leaves. Work life balance is average based on team. Most importantly company is currently not in growth mode it is looking to stabilize the workforce and hence we cannot expect decent hikes/promotions.
