About the Role:
- As the QA Manager at CARD91, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services through effective leadership of the Quality Assurance team.
- You will develop and execute quality assurance strategies, oversee testing processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of excellence in all aspects of the product lifecycle.
- Your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement and ensuring that all CARD91 products meet the highest levels of quality, performance, and security.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement QA Strategies: Design and oversee the implementation of comprehensive QA strategies, ensuring alignment with CARD91's business objectives and product requirements.
- Establish best practices to enhance product quality across all stages of development.
- Lead the QA Team: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of QA professionals, providing guidance on QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the QA team.
- Test Planning and Execution: Coordinate the development and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts, ensuring that testing covers all functional, regression, integration, and security requirements.
- Ensure all features are thoroughly tested before release.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with Product, Development, and Operations teams to define quality goals, clarify requirements, and ensure a shared understanding of expectations.
- Facilitate communication across teams to address issues and prioritize deliverables.
- Monitor and Report Quality Metrics: Track and analyze quality metrics such as defect rates, testing progress, and performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to improve testing processes and product quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and recommend tools or methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and improve testing effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new best practices and technologies.
- Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address potential risks in the product development lifecycle.
- Lead efforts to resolve defects and issues that impact quality, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure Compliance with Standards: Ensure that all products adhere to internal and external quality standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
- Implement audits to verify compliance with industry best practices.
- Drive Automation Initiatives: Lead the efforts to integrate test automation tools and frameworks to improve the efficiency and coverage of testing.
- Oversee the development of automated test scripts and ensure their successful integration into the CI/CD pipeline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8-12years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the payments, financial technology, or SaaS industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing, and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman).
- Familiarity with Java, Python, Mysql, Postman, Swagger, Agile methodology, Scrum, and DevOps practices is essential.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify potential issues early in the process to ensure high-quality outcomes.
