Linux Administrator - Python / Bash Scripting

- 8-10 years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.

- In-depth knowledge of Red Hat system administration tools and utilities.

- Strong understanding of Linux kernel concepts and command line proficiency.

- Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Bash, Python) is preferred.

- Experience with Red Hat containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman) (a plus).

- Experience with Red Hat virtualization technologies (e.g., Red Hat Virtualization) (a plus).

- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and package management.

- Perform system administration tasks such as system configuration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

- Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for Red Hat systems.

- Configure and manage Red Hat identity and access management (IAM) solutions (e.g., FreeIPA).

- Secure Red Hat systems by hardening configurations, managing firewall rules, and implementing security best practices.

- Monitor system health and performance for proactive problem identification.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest Red Hat technologies and industry best practices.

- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Red Hat systems.

- Document procedures and configurations for the Red Hat environment.
