Gemini Solutions - L2/L3 Linux Administrator - AWS Infrastructure (5-7 yrs)

About the Company Gemini is seeking an experienced Linux/Unix Admin to help the firm in the ongoing projects.

This is a mid-senior level position demanding extensive experience with L2/L3 Linux system support.

About the Role Major responsibilities of the profile, but not limited to, shall be :

- L2/L3 Linux system admin support.

- Ansible, Chef, is a must to have and Terraform(preferred).

- Proactive and reactive problem identification and rectification/resolution.

- Experience with storage allocation and management.

- Co-ordination with database and other related teams for any system issues.

- Automation and shell scripting (bash/ksh/csh).

- Good knowledge of Private Cloud.

- Good knowledge on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.

- Must have good hand on Linux/ Unix admin skills, scripting abilities (bash/csh/python/etc), knowledge of Autosys, MQ, FTP a plus, System Monitoring and Performance tuning.

NOTE : Candidate must be Red Hat certified Engineer.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of relevant experience in Linux administration.

- Red Hat certification mandatory.

- Experience in Chef or Ansible is required.

- Proficient in scripting.

- UNIX services: FTP/NIS/Account Management and other services.

- ZFS, Oracle Exadata, Oracle zdldr.
