CapitaLand - Project Manager - Civil - Commercial Projects (12-15 yrs)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of commercial civil projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while managing a team of engineers and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.

- Execution Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of project execution, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and effectively.

- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.

- Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with quality standards and project specifications.

- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative working environment.

- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members regarding project status, challenges, and milestones.

- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

- Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry, specifically in commercial projects.

- Strong knowledge of project management software and tools.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
